The young Hollywood Starlet Rita Hayworth’s timing was perfect to become one of the most admired and popular pinups for the U.S. troops. In 1941 Hayworth played opposite of Fred Astaire in the box office hit the movie musical You'll Never Get Rich. It was during this period that Hayworth posed for a famous hot sultry sexy pin-up in Life Magazine, which showed her in a lacy form fitting negligee perched seductively on her bed. When the United States. joined World War II in December of 1941, Hayworth's image was admired by millions of servicemen, making her one of the top hot pin-up girls of the war years bested only by the beautiful blond with the long sexy much admired legs the #1 pinup of the U.S. and allied troops of World War Two Betty Grable.

She began performing on the stage as a youg teen and appeared in 61 films begining in the mid 1930's and spanning almost 40 years and is listed as one of the American Film Institute's Greatest Stars of All Time.
