Short Biography: Mitzi Mayfair was a cute talented tap dancer who worked on the Broadway stages during the 1930s and 1940s. She did a little film work appearing in a few Vitaphone Shorts and on a TV show Stop the Music. Her biggest claim on enduring fame was appearing as herself in the movie Four Jills in a Jeep (1944); the true story of this movie chronicles how she and three other Hollywood celebrities went to the front lines of World War Two to entertain the U.S. Troops, it costars Kay Francis, Martha Raye , and Carole Landis all playing themselves.
